影片改编自省级非透蟠龙梆子传统剧目《李逵断案》，以蟠龙梆子戏曲艺术为表演形式，讲述梁山好汉李逵路遇不平官司，为伸张正义，自任寿张县令，断冤假错案、惩恶扬善，惩戒不孝子与贪官、开仓济民，肃清不良风气，传递孝亲尊老理念，弘扬社会主义核心价值观。
